How to prolong the life of the Double Tipped Marker

Double Tipped Marker

The remarkable TRACER Double Tipped Marker is one of life’s greatest inventions for tradies. It’s versatile, you can mark both thin and thick lines and best of all, it’s useful for marking in virtually any scenario. However, when it comes to prolonging the life of the marker, some tradespeople aren’t aware of this simple trick that quickly replenishes the ink. For this reason, we wanted to share this top tip to help you get the most out of your Double Tipped Marker.

What is the Double Tipped Marker?

The Double Tipped Marker is a professional marking solution designed for accurate deep hole marks. Ideal for plumbers and electricians, the marker is perfect for marking on ceramics, plastic, metal and wood. With the ability to mark 50mm depth in a 5mm hole, the marker provides clear and accurate marks in any deep hole marking scenario.

How can I prolong the life of the marker?

One of the main features of the marker is its reversible double tipped nib. This unique feature allows you to conveniently mark both thin and thick lines with one single pen which is particularly useful when marking plans. However, if you’re noticing your marker is starting to dry up, here’s a little tip.

Below the sturdy metal shaft is a small inkwell which contains the ink for the marker. So, if your marker is showing signs of drying up simply reverse the nib to collect new ink and renew its life. The marker will very quickly restore new ink and revert back to its condition from new.

Hi John, we do refills for the pencil marker yes. However, for the pen or clog-free we do not currently do this. – Dylon
